Singapura, Oh, Singapura!

Chances are, you’re celebrating National Day a little differently this year – cosying up in the comfort of your home with your nearest and dearest, catching the National Day Parade 2020 festivities on screen. Don’t let that dull your patriotic spirits though, we’ve got exactly what you need to make merry – our Botanically Cold Brewed™ Singapura Spice™ with Pineapple Sparkling Tea, with a twist to liven up the party!

Artisan Selection Singapura Spice™ launched in 2015

The celebration of Singapore’s birthday wouldn’t be complete with iconic National Day songs and our local delights. Just 5 years ago, we launched a limited-edition tea blend – Singapura Spice™, as a tribute to Singapore’s multi-ethnic culinary paradise. The humble curry leaf, an essential ingredient that is commonly used in Asian dishes like Chinese chili crab, Malay fried chicken and Indian curries, was incorporated into the unique blend of sweet basil, mint and a melodious of tropical fruits by our Master Blender to create our very own interpretation of the tastes and flavour experiences of Singapore.

Fast forward to today, we’ve decided to take things up a notch, or “zhng” this feisty summer-picked green tea up a little by introducing it in bottled form, botanically cold brewed for no less than 12 hours and infused with light carbonation and natural pineapple and lime juice as a celebration of Singapore’s cultural diversity and mouth-watering cuisine.

Getting crafty with our mocktail and cocktail

Don’t let the thought of having curry leaves in your tea turn you off! Drawing on the aromatic herbal and citrus notes of the humble curry leaf and sweetness of tropical pineapple and calamansi, the sparkling green tea is naturally flavoured with a fragrant caramel-like aroma layered with a subtle taste of spice, making it a perfect pairing with local delights. What’s best, you can shake up your very own mocktail or add some booze for a refreshing tipple with it too!
