Located in one of the many industrial buildings in Macpherson, Knots Café is a sight to behold. This multi-concept store/café serves up great food amidst a great selection of furniture and flowers. The multi-concept space is helmed by Xpress Flower and features an in-store florist, café and furniture shop.
The café oozes chill vibes with its tall ceilings, modern retro décor and endless number of plants perched on tables, draped on shelves and hanging against pillars. Knots café is open for breakfast till dinner and usually fills up during lunch time. To avoid the crowd, try visiting the café during late mornings for a cup of Gryphon Tea, or pop by some time in the late afternoon for some sparkling teas.
Knots Café is known for offering delicious buttermilk waffles with savoury toppings, but they do have a delicious breakfast menu as well. We had a go at their Smoked Salmon sandwich (pictured above). This savoury sandwich features slices of smoked salmon nested in between 2 pieces of toast and salad vegetables which complements our Pearl of the Orient sparkling tea really well!
The next dish we tried was the French toast. The chefs gave the typical French toast a twist by serving it with small bites of crunchy chicken. The chicken’s crispy and savoury flavour gave a salty yet delicately sweet profile to the overall dish. Pair this with our Earl Grey Lavender sparkling tea for a hearty meal.
If you are in the mood for something warm and comforting, Knots café offers a selection of Gryphon Tea’s Artisan Selection teas as well. Our hot teas definitely make a great pair with the delightful selection of cakes and desserts they have on display.
The next time you are in the area looking for a place to rest your feet, drop by Knots café for some refreshing sparkling teas and a cake or two!
